Easy Walking & Wheelchair Friendly

We have compiled the following through personal recommendations from friends and guests as well as from our own research.

We understand that what is accessible to one person may not be accessible to another.  So please just use this as a starting point / guide to what there is about.  As much as we would love to guarantee everything on this page is suitable for all, we sadly know this will not be the case.

We continue to add to this page so if we have missed something out which you think should be on here please do let us know so we can add it.

Lenwade to Whitwell

2.5 mile access tested route along Marriott's Way from Porter's Lane car Park in Lenwade to Whitwell and Reepham Station.

Taverham to
Attlebridge

2 mile access tested route through woodland and open countryside along Marriott's Way from Freeland Corner car park in Taverham to the Station Road car park in Attlebridge.

Wells Quay Side

1 mile stretch of coast path along the quay side of the harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea.  An accessible route with stunning coastal views.

Blakeney Freshers

An accessible 2.5 mile linear stretch of the coast path from Blakeney to Cley next the Sea with an optional circular route back which may be difficult for some.

Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve

Family and Disability-Friendly Nature Reserve.
Sculthorpe Moor Community Nature Reserve is fully accessible. Mobility scooters, wheelchairs, pushchairs and prams have easy access to the reserves walkways, hides, and amenities. Baby changing and disabled toilet facilities can be found at the visitor centre.

Assistance dogs are welcome at Sculthorpe (regrettably other dogs are not permitted onto the reserve, there are too many good smells!).
